Bottled Ramune

In 1946, shortly after the end of World War II, founder Saburō Hata established Hata Kosen in its current location, starting with the manufacturing and sales of soft drinks. For more than 70 years since then, the company has grown together with Osaka and the local community. Despite the turbulent times, at its peak the number of beverage manufacturers exceeded 2,000, but Hata Kosen, fueled by the passion of its founder with the goal of becoming “Japan’s Ramune maker,” continued production and eventually became Japan’s leading manufacturer of Ramune. Loved by Japanese people, Ramune has spread worldwide and is now exported to more than 70 countries. Carrying on the Japanese spirit engraved in every bottle of Ramune, we will continue to deliver beloved products to future generations as “Hata Kosen of the World.”
