How to Use
Pure white radishes are hand-woven one by one with thin strings, then hung from the ceiling and dried over burning oak wood for 3 to 5 days to bring out their delicious aroma.
Pickled in rice bran and salt as the main ingredients, the pickling workshop is filled with a cold, snow-like air, resulting in a rich, flavorful finish.
Our products do not contain any preservatives, colorings, or seasonings (amino acids, etc.), making use of only natural flavors.
These takuan pickles have a nostalgic taste reminiscent of old-fashioned times spent around the hearth.
The sliced type can be eaten as is immediately after opening.

Kimuraya is located in Yuzawa City, Akita Prefecture (formerly Kamikatsu Town), nestled in the Ou mountain range, and was founded in 1963 (Showa 38). The people of Kimatsuno have long been skilled in pickle making, and various traditional pickling methods have been passed down through generations.
